Inside the News Room

Help us raise $25,000 by May 31 to #fightfakenews

Today marks the first day of our spring fundraising campaign to #fightfakenews.

Our longtime funder Ethics and Excellence in Journalism presented The Lens and its audience with a challenge: Raise $25,000 and we’ll give you $25,000.

With your support, we will achieve that goal during our #fightfakenews campaign.

And this year, your donation through GiveNOLA Day on May 2 will help us reach it.

We are asking you, our readers, to give to the reporting you’ve come to depend on. Pledge your support today.

April 25 through May 2

Donate through the GiveNOLA Day site and your gift will be stretched.

May 2

GiveNOLA Day! Make a donation from midnight until 11:59 p.m. to support our important work.

That morning, from 8 to 9 a.m., stop by our office to meet the reporters who dive into local government and schools to bring you the stories that other news outlets don’t. Visit our Facebook event page to learn more.

That afternoon, join us for GiveNOLA Fest from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s new office. It’s located at Lee Circle, 919 St. Charles Ave.

May 3 to May 31

Our #fightfakenews spring campaign continues! Show your support for independent, public-interest journalism.
