Behind The Lens episode 129: ‘The NFL does ask for a lot’

NOPD creates a list of officers with potential credibility issues. An arrest warrant for a former charter school administrator. And the Super Bowl Host Committee is now a "culture bearer."

This week on Behind the Lens, at the request of DA Jason Williams, the New Orleans Police Department created a “Brady list” of officers deemed to have credibility problems based on past misconduct.

The police issued an arrest warrant for the former CFO of James M. Singleton Charter School following an investigation into the school’s employee background checks.

And the first grant issued by the city’s newly founded Tourism and Cultural Fund goes to the 2025 Super Bowl Host Committee.

Our guests this week are education reporter Marta Jewson, government and cultural economy reporter Michael Isaac Stein, and The Lens editor Charles Maldonado.

Behind The Lens is available on Apple PodcastsSpotifyGoogle Play and Stitcher. And we broadcast the show on community radio stations 102.3 FM WHIV LP in Mid-City and 90.3 FM WAMF-LP in the Marigny.
