This week on Behind The Lens, reported cases of COVID in New Orleans schools have exploded in the last week with the rise of the Omicron variant. We’ll take a look at how schools are handling it.

And in criminal justice news, the civil rights trial against David Wade Correctional Center began this week as prisoners who were kept in solitary confinement for extended periods of time took the stand. Also, longtime Angola prisoner Bobby Sneed has been released after a months-long court battle with the state parole board.
