The Louisiana Department of Education today released school letter grades and report cards for elementary, middle and combination schools.

School letter grades are typically released earlier in the fall, but the state’s new standardized assessment for third- through eighth-grade students took more time to process. This spring, Louisiana students took the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for Career and Career English and math tests for the first time.

Performance scores for ninth- through 12th-grade  high schools were released at the end of October.

The state also released guides for school report cards for elementary schools, middle schools, combination schools and high schools.
