ACLU sues security district officers over traffic stop, alleging discrimination. School district says Singleton Charter violated ethics laws. And a $74M plan to reliably connect the Sewerage and Water Board to the power grid.

This week on Behind the Lens, Singleton Charter School receives another warning from the NOLA Public Schools district, this time for allegedly violating state ethics laws.

Entergy and the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board announced they will partner on a $74 million power substation to provide dedicated electricity to the city’s water and drainage systems.

And the ACLU of Louisiana has filed suit against several police officers and a neighborhood security district for an incident last summer involving three young Black men in Uptown New Orleans.
