Take the mystery out of digital media!

Meet and talk with Lens reporters about their work and the issues they cover on Thursday evening, May 22, at BrottWorks Design Studio.

The Lens, New Orleans’ leading nonprofit newsroom, wants our readers to understand exactly how we pursue investigative, public-interest journalism.

Founder Karen Gadbois will team with reporter Charles Maldonado to illuminate our approach to land use issues, including blight eradication. And most of the team will be present, including Pulitzer Prize winner Tyler Bridges, state and local governance, education writer Jessica Williams, and Abe Handler, news technologist.

Come with questions, leave with answers.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and ends around 8 p.m.

Refreshments and tastings are being donated by select Freret Street restaurants.

BrottWorks’ owners Andrew Brott and Kellie Grengs are proud supporters of The Lens and invite you to share their home and studio.
