ReNEW charter budget hearing set for Thursday

A public hearing on the $33 million budget will be held Thursday, May 9, at 5:30 p.m.

ReNEW Schools charter management organization will hold a public hearing on its $33 million 2013-14 budget Thursday, May 9, at 5:30 p.m.

With the addition of Schaumburg Elementary next year, the charter organization will oversee four elementary schools and one high school: ReNEW Accelerated High School, ReNEW Dolores T. Aaron Elementary (formerly called Reed Elementary), ReNEW Batiste Cultural Arts Academy and ReNEW SciTech Academy.

The 2012-13 budget and 2013-14 budget are available for review here or at ReNEW schools. The hearing will be held at ReNEW Accelerated High School, 3649 Laurel St.
