Einstein Board meeting cancelled

The Einstein board found out ten minutes before their scheduled board meeting that member Ryan Bennet would not be able to make the meeting and therefore the board could not reach a quorum.  After consulting their legal counsel the board decided to cancel the meeting.

Board President Ramona Perkins said the agenda included action items such as interviewing potential board members and decisions regarding bylaws.  Without a quorum the board would not be able to vote and therefore they thought it best to cancel the meeting.

The board will reschedule the meeting for later this month or push the agenda items to next month’s meeting, which is Nov.1 at 6pm at Einstein Charter School.
