Treme Charter School Association fails to reach quorum at possible final meeting

The Treme Charter School Association, which did not have its charter to manage McDonogh 42 renewed for the 2012-2013 school year, turned over control of the school to the Choice Foundation on June 30.
Additionally, the organization failed to reach a quorum in its June 30 meeting.
The board had three action items on its final agenda, including personnel actions and some discussion of transitional issues.
Members Roslyn Smith and Bernard Robertson were present at the listed start time, 12 p.m.  By 12:30 p.m., members Hester Cottles and Madonna Greene had arrived as well as CPA Sean Bruno.  CEO Cynthia Williams arrived at 12:40 p.m..  The board waited until 1:20 p.m. and began making plans to reschedule.  As of now, a date has not been set.
