I passed the 100 block of South Rampart Street last night, much as I often do. Each time I drive that route I find myself thinking, “No parking lot, yet.”
A nine-story parking garage was supposed to be constructed on that corner.

It’s sadly fitting that the AMC-TV channel aired “Rocky” and “Rocky II” on Monday, the day when former heavyweight boxing champ Joe Frazier died of liver cancer at 67. The Rocky movie marathon on AMC continued on Tuesday, broadcasting five Rocky movies back-to-back.
