Behind The Lens episode 144: Real subpoenas

A settlement in a suit over conditions on death row. And OPSB is asking to subpoena financial records in an ongoing legal dispute with Singleton Charter School.

This week on Behind the Lens, parties in a class-action lawsuit filed on behalf of death row prisoners in Louisiana have reached a settlement.

The NOLA Public Schools district is seeking accounting records for James Singleton Charter School in an ongoing legal battle. Also in local education news, New Orleans public schools will not follow new state guidelines that loosen quarantine guidelines for in-school COVID exposures.

And our health reporter Philip Kiefer has a follow-up on his story from last week on immigrant communities recovering after Hurricane Ida.
