French and Montessori Education Incorporated, the board that oversees Audubon Charter School, will hold a hearing on May 17 to discuss next year’s budget.

Board members will convene at 10 a.m. to discuss the preliminary $7.5 million budget.

Currently, the preliminary budget shows a revenue gap of nearly $69,000. Audubon CPA Ben Hicks said the problem would be resolved before the hearing.

“It’s our intent to present a balanced budget next month, so we’ve got a lot of work to do,” Hicks said.

The hearing will be at 1111 Milan Street. The meeting is open to the public.
