This week on Behind The Lens, host Carolyne Heldman catches up with Lens reporter Nick Chrastil. 

The Mayor’s Office of Gun Violence Prevention has ceased most operations and laid off all employees, since the CEA with its fiscal agent lapsed at the end of last year.

A New Orleans trial was put on hold this week after an appellate court ordered the district court judge to hold a hearing on whether the court has been illegally excluding people with prior felony convictions from serving on juries for the last year and a half. The state law was changed in 2021.

Carolyne Heldman Rovira has been in media for 35 years, and is currently the podcast host and producer for Behind The Lens.
