Algiers Charter School group to introduce interim CEO, won’t discuss previous leader

The Algiers Charter School Association will announce a new interim CEO Tuesday morning, a network spokeswoman confirmed.

Director of External Relations Tammi Griffin-Major told The Lens that the six-school network’s board will announce the new leader at the network’s office at 10 a.m.

Griffin-Major would not comment further or on the employment status of Adrian Morgan, who is still listed as network’s CEO on its website.

In his capacity as CEO, Morgan replied to a Lens email on Thursday, inquiring about a special board meeting on Jan. 5.

Morgan did not immediately return a phone call Monday. Board members did not return emails.
