Yesterday’s news discussed a building permit ban that had been imposed in New Orleans East.
What about the fact that people living or working within the combined “preferred” LSU/VA hospital footprints have been forbidden from obtaining permits since December 2007? See ordinance 22,944 m.c.s. That’s eleven months BEFORE official site selection. What gives?
