  1. Thank you, Squandered Heritage, for showing the world the real neighborhood and the real people who have been betrayed and discarded by their own elected and appointed officials.

    Publicly-funded land acquisition preceded any public involvement in site selection.

    At at least one site selction meeting, a kiosk had been set up so people could get relocation information. Why was this even necessary if the panelists were telling the truth about multiple sites being on the table?

    Why has talk of compensation and relocation swirled around this – and ONLY this – site since the morning paper ran the first footprint graphics in 2007?

    Media coverage to date has been dominated by propaganda from interested parties while the affected community has been treated as a non-entity. Follow the money.
