To answer the question WHY?

This property owner wanted to demolish a damaged garage. It should never have been on the agenda because it did not need a commitee vote. This is one of the reasons that the HCDRC needs to have a staff position to make sure the Public is fully informed as to what is going on in their Neighborhoods.

  • Why?

  • This is one of the worst ones I’ve seen. It looks like a pretty darn solid building to me…

  • Well, this one is and was an Administrative error. The guy just wanted to knock down his garage and the City told him he had to go trough a review process.
