Hey all you zoning zealots: The administrative hearings at City Hall for zoning violations have now been stepped up to about twice a month.

The next hearing is Wednesday on the seventh floor of City Hall.

One front-yard paving case will be heard regarding the property at 4125 Fontainebleau St., where a renovation just finished up.

Permits are not required for paving so the property owner may not have realized he was violating zoning code.

Also on the agenda are two Little Tokyo restaurants, at 310 N. Carrollton Ave. and 1340 S. Carrollton Ave. Signage is the issue for both of them, specifically scrolling LED signs which are not allowed in an overlay district. The hearings begin at 9 am and are open to the public.
