RESULT: The HCDRC is notorious for not following Robert’s Rules of Order. It’s a circus one must see to believe. This week, Winston Reid from the City’s Code Enforcement Dept. first initiated the motion to DENY this demolition based on the report from his inspector that the building did NOT justify demolition. The committee voted to DENY by a wide, if not, unanimous margin based on this information.

However, when the woman who stated she was the owner showed up at the very end of the meeting, he said he would try to personally go out and look at the property. In other words, maybe he could change his mind.
