		<description>I vote for disillusioned and would add disconnected as well. I don&#039;t believe the low turnout had anything to do with the Saints or Mardi Gras. The turnout was low because a large section of this city gave up on government and politics a long time ago. As far as they are concerned it doesn&#039;t matter who they vote for because their situation never changes. Growing up here helps me understand why they feel that way. Getting some of these folks to buy into real changes would be a big step in changing the city.</description>
