Gone are the days when you could actually make a joke about being a terrorist when the change in your pocket set off an airport metal detector. (A true thrill for me at the age of 9!) I had to make a plea for a friend who was out of town a few weeks ago. I was instructed to remove my boots, belt and leather jacket before proceeding through the metal detector and this was freaking TRAFFIC COURT at David Drive! I'm amazed that they have tighter security than the Feds! Oh well, soon they'll take me seriously when the Nude Courts begin. No need for scanners, just a bunch of disgruntled, naked citizens waiting their turn to pay traffic tickets. It might eve signal the end of singles bars. Ain’t it grand, what we’ve become?
