This house was on a previous HCDRC agenda back on January 22, the weird thing is that the house was approved for demolition way back then and it is on the agenda again for May 29. My guess is that after the owners got the approval to demolish the house; they wanted a free city demolition. When the city got the request to demolish it from the owners, the owners obviously did not tell the city they had gotten a demolition approval from the HCDRC. The city could also be putting all houses and lots on the HCDRC agenda and does not take into account the previous history and city processes the house has gone through (some houses have been demolished and are on the HCDRC agenda but that is a whole other story). Anyway, the point is someone at city hall does not know what he or she is doing.
